Program Information
The Global Certificate of Public Accounting program is a flexible program comprised of 50 micro-credentials, allowing you to tailor your learning journey. Alternatively, we offer two structured pathways to help you earn a Global Certificate in Public Accounting.
You can apply to have previous study from another institution or another program recognised, this is known as Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). This will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. You can apply for RPL here.
Entry Requirements:
To enter the program you must join the IPA as an Affiliate Member. Affiliates are individuals beginning their journey toward a successful accounting career. To become an affiliate, you must be at least 18 years old, have completed secondary education, and possess adequate English proficiency. An accounting background is not required.
If you do have previous experience and qualifications, you can join as an IPA Associate (AIPA), Member (MIPA), or Fellow (FIPA).
How To Enrol:
Upon registering for a Global Certificate of Public Accounting microcredential, you will be automatically enrolled in the Global Certificate of Public Accounting program. We will then reach out to complete your complimentary Affiliate membership application and provide access to your IPA membership benefits. While you are enrolled in a Global Certificate of Public Accounting microcredential, your Affiliate membership fee will be waived.
