The IPA has been providing a community for accountants to come together, learn and grow for 100 years. Throughout the next 12 months, we will look at key milestones that have shaped our journey and acknowledge that without our members, we would have not evolved into the organisation that we are today.
We are excited to celebrate and look forward to our next 100 years.

The IPA has been on a 100-year journey, growing and changing to meet the needs of our members. We pride ourselves on our personal connection with our members, and a focus on supporting small businesses. This connection took us across the globe in 2015 when we acquired the Institute of Financial Accountants (IFA) in the UK and expanded our membership base internationally. In 2020 we expanded once again by acquiring the Association of Accounting Technicians, broadening our reach to include accounting technicians.
