Program Information
The Global Certificate of Public Accounting program is a flexible program comprised of 50 micro-credentials covering Technical, Transdisciplinary, and Professional competencies, allowing you to tailor your learning journey. Alternatively, we offer two structured pathways to help you earn a Global Certificate of Public Accounting.
Pathway 1 aligns with IPA membership, starting as an affiliate and progressing through to associate status, leading to recognition as an accountant, and eventually advancing to a member and Global Certificate of Public Accounting holder.
Pathway 2 focuses on job-ready certifications, consisting of micro-credential stacks designed for individuals who want to build specific skills or competencies for targeted job roles.
If you have prior accounting experience or qualifications, you can apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) assessment here, allowing you to fast-track your progress through the program.
Start with accounting fundamentals, financial reporting, and ethics to build a strong foundation. Then, master essential areas for advancing in a professional accounting role, equipping you to manage key financial responsibilities and progress to associate membership.
Advancing from Associate to IPA Member strengthens technical and professional skills. Micro-credentials in audit and law enhance compliance knowledge, while topics like communication, digital fluency, problem-solving, and sustainability build a well-rounded skill set for modern accounting.
Achieving the Global Certificate in Public Accounting prepares you for global business challenges. Targeted micro-credentials delivered through a multi-dimension pathway deepen expertise, ensure industry relevance, and promote ethical, sustainable practices, enhancing your technical, leadership, and strategic problem-solving skills.
