Ethical decision making and ethical practice are essential requirements in the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA) . They apply both to the behaviour of all members and of the organisation itself. No one – whether an individual or an organisation – has the right to behave however they might want. All of us operate within broader social and legal contexts which hold us to account. Being ethical in our practice is an important part of being a professional.
Completing the IPA Annual Ethics Refresher reminds you of your ethical obligations as a professional and gives you additional practice in ethical decision-making in the context of some of the previous year’s hot topics.
What you will receive:
On successful completion of the short courses you will receive an individual certificate and digital credential and you will have fulfilled 2 of your required 20 CPD hours in Ethics.
Please note: IPA Short Courses are held via the OpenLearning portal. Students are required to create a learning account that is separate from IPA Membership portal. Students will have 6 months to access and complete the course. Those who do not complete the course within this timeframe will not receive the allocated CPD hours will not be entitled to a refund. It can take up to 48 hours to be added into the platform.
