Nola Luyten, Director and Accountant – Eagle Tax and Accounting, Fellow of the Institute of Public Accountants. Past DAC member for 7 years, discussion group convenor for approx. 18 years, IPA member 28 years. IPA Practice of the Year - QLD 2019 and National 2019; IPA Member of the year QLD 2023.

We will be looking at some of the Code Items introduced recently to take effect from the 1st of July for all registered Tax Agents and BAS Agents who have less than 100 employees.
The specific code items will be:

- Code item 15 – False and misleads Statements
- Code item 30 – Records
- Code item 35 – Ensure agents services provided on your behalf are provided competently
- Code item 40 – Quality Control Systems
- Code item 45 - Keeping Clients informed
